We’re a church in Southtown San Antonio for the curious, the burned-out, and the not-so-sure — built around the idea that doubt isn’t dangerous and nothing has to be hidden.

The Arsenal started in Southtown with one stubborn conviction: that you shouldn’t have to choose between honest questions and real faith. Years later, that’s still the whole idea.
A lot of people walk in here carrying questions they were told to stop asking — or a church story that left a mark. We don’t treat any of that as a problem to manage. Questions are how people grow, and honesty is the price of belonging anywhere real.
The name’s not an accident. An arsenal is a collection of things kept ready to be used. That’s how we think about this community: ordinary people, equipped and sent — not to win arguments, but to love a city well.

Questions over answers
Growth starts with a better question. We’d rather sit honestly in a hard one than hand you a tidy one that doesn’t hold.
Nothing has to be hidden
It matters less that everything gets fixed than that nothing ever has to be hidden. Bring the whole story.
Awe over fear
We left fear-based religion behind on purpose. Fear narrows; awe widens. We’d rather live wide.
Love, out loud
The point was never looking right — it was loving well. Go love well; it’s who you were made to be.
